It’s like sleeping in the clouds

Took a lot for me to upgrade but couldn’t be happier to finally do it. I am a side/back sleeper and based on a lot of reviews I went with the Alphine and I just love my bed and love sleeping in it so much! Definitely worth the investment!!!

Q: Hi i don’t know which to buy between original or alpine my weight is 120 does it influence ? Quest#2 hope mattress is no longer then 75 cause then it won’t fit on ikea twin bed. Q: What’s a split king

A: Hi Crystal, a great question that we are more than happy to answer.

In simple terms, a Split king bed is two twin xl mattresses alongside each other. This makes for the split king size: 76'' x 80'' (38″ x 80″ each, multiplied by 2).

By having 2 mattresses it allows for a larger sleeping area, an easier to maneuver mattress arrangement and individual adjustability when combined with our adjustable bed frame.

Q: Do you know if the mattress is heavy enough to use on a Murphy bed

A: Hi, Wendy! Only select Murphy beds are compatible with our mattresses.

If your Murphy bed has coils, springs, metal bars, or grids, it is incompatible with a Douglas mattress. In addition, the bed must have straps to hold the mattress flat when it is stored and must accommodate the height of the mattress.

Q: Does Douglas make a narrow rv king mattress? The bed in our 5th wheel is 70x80x7. After 6 nights there already sleep displaced mound in the center of the mattress Will your mattress eleviate this or is it a normal weight transfer dispacement?

A: Hi, Leigh. Our mattresses are made with durable Canadian materials and known for having minimal motion transfer.

However, as of right now, we do not offer an RV mattress size with dimensions of 70" x 80".

A: Hey, Tom! Both the Douglas Alpine and the Douglas Summit are medium-firm mattresses with consistent support. However, the Douglas Summit offers our best in cooling, pressure-point relief, and motion isolation out of all Douglas mattress models.

With a total height of 12”, the Douglas Summit has thicker foam layers and slightly more sink than the Douglas Alpine. Additionally, the CoolSense® cover is interwoven with CryoFusion™ cooling nanofibres for maximum temperature regulation.
