Once you've carefully opened the box, simply unroll the futon and note that the futon comes with straps and a dust bag for easy storage later, so you don't have to worry about finding a way to keep it rolled up neatly.

After unrolling the futon, give it some time to expand to its full shape. In our experience, it took about 2 days for the futon to fully expand to its intended 3-inch height, with the corners filling out nicely as well, which indicated great corner expansion.

One of the benefits of Zonli Futon's OEKO-TEX certification is minimal off-gassing. Needless to say, we did not find any bad odor once we unboxed the futon mattress.

For prolonged sleeping sessions, we didn’t experience any heat buildup and felt more secure and supported in the back and stomach sleeping positions, however, we felt a bit of pressure on the shoulder area in the side sleeping position.
