The first test consists of sleeping on each side for a 20-minute nap. When we did this test, we found that the mattress remained cool while sleeping on each side.

While doing this test, we found that the mattress takes about 0.9 seconds to recover to its initial form. This did not surprise us, as memory foam naturally has a slow response to pressure. This would be great for those who are looking for a mattress that can relieve their pressure points. However, if you are in the market for a mattress that has a bouncy feel to it, this wouldn’t be a good option for you.

Motion Isolation

Mattresses with good motion isolation are ideal if you share your bed with a partner. We tested the mattress's motion isolation performance by doing a couple of tests.

The first test was that we put a glass of water on one side of the mattress and dropped a 20-pound ball on the other side. This helps us examine how much motion is transferred to the glass of water. While doing this test, we found that the water glass was hardly affected by the ball drop.

The second test consists of rolling on one side of the mattress and having our partner report to us the motion propagated on the other side of the mattress. This test also indicated that the mattress transfers little to no movement.
