The tested Medium-Firm allowed 2.02–2.10 inches of sinkage over a firm ProSupport foam base. Its measured performance supports the more balanced fit for back sleepers. Extra Firm should reduce hip sink for stomach sleepers based on its firmer construction, but it was not the scored configuration. The 9-inch profile is less substantial for sleepers over 230 pounds.
Peak-to-peak acceleration of 6.58–6.84 m/s^2 maps to 9.3/10 under our published motion scale. The surface mostly recovered in 0.196–0.204 seconds and fully recovered in 0.59–0.61 seconds, while bounce measured 8.25–8.59 inches. Those response and bounce measurements explain the responsive feel but are scored separately under ease of movement.
A fixed 12 lb load creates the impact while an accelerometer records the movement that crosses the mattress.
Cooling testing scored 7.0/10, while sinkage measured 2.02–2.10 inches and the all-foam build does not add coil airflow or Casper's Snow cooling materials. The breathable-cover claim does not offset the lack of coil airflow or active cooling.
Edge-support testing scored 8.9/10; sitting compression measured 3.67–3.83 inches, and lying edge support was rated excellent. The score reflects those results alongside the firmer ProSupport base.
