Sinkage measured 2.60–2.70 inches on an 11.5-inch profile. The foam base can support average-weight side and back sleepers, but deep hip sink gives heavier bodies and stomach sleepers less alignment margin.
Motion-transfer testing scored 7.7/10, with peak-to-peak acceleration of 10.74–11.18 m/s^2. The foam keeps most routine partner movement contained, though larger disturbances remain more noticeable than on the strongest motion-isolation mattresses.
A fixed 12 lb load creates the impact while an accelerometer records the movement that crosses the mattress.
Thermal testing scored 8.0/10, while sinkage measured 2.60–2.70 inches. The breathable cover and NanoGEL foam temper surface warmth, while the deep hug and solid foam core limit airflow.
Edge-support testing scored 5.8/10; sitting compression measured 5.39–5.61 inches, and lying-edge support was Poor. The perimeter reduces usable width for couples and offers little leverage for people who sit on the side while dressing or standing.
We measure seated compression, then check how secure the surface remains while lying directly along the edge.
Response timing showed most recovery in 0.39–0.41 seconds and full recovery in 1.57–1.63 seconds. Bounce measured 4.42–4.60 inches and sinkage measured 2.60–2.70 inches, so the mattress responds quickly at first but provides little lift for rolling or getting out of bed.
The 11.5-inch measured profile includes five inches of comfort material over a 6.5-inch support section. That substantial contouring layer is the most likely area to soften or develop impressions before the base loses shape.
